The Ukulele is the perfect first instrument; it gives children the opportunity to develop fundamental musical skills such as pitch, rhythm and pulse whilst also aiding the development of transferable skills such as co-ordination, fine motor movement, memory, muscle memory, determination and confidence, through an age appropriate and manageable instrument.

We believe in a holistic approach to music learning; we move, sing, explore, we learn rhythms through clapping games, we listen, we compose and we learn music theory through silly rhymes, pictures & games.

We understand that learning is different for each child; we take the time to get to know our students and cater each lesson to them. We take a no pressure approach, learning an instrument should not be a chore and students will only move on when they are completely ready.

We believe in seeing learning as a pyramid, children must have a firm grasp of the foundations before moving up.
